I almost never do things like this but sometimes you have to.

One of our good friends in the Local Scottish community has been fighting a 3 year battle against breast cancer. Medical coverage being what it is, they have burned through their savings and retirement founds and and most of the stuff they owned. Her husband has been her main caretaker throughout. Her meds are costing $19.00 per pill and she has to take several a day.

Her husband is a programmer who has developed some great fonts that allow you to create great Celtic knotwork on your computer as well as create knotwork patterns for needlepoint and beading. I have had a copy of this since he developed it and use it for newsletter borders and general space fillers in newsletters. Their website is http://www.clanbadge.com and all sales go direct to her healthcare. Take a look and if it looks useful to you buy a copy. The software works well and produces great graphics so it is a win-win.

Thanks

great site and wonderful cause.

I am not creative enough to use it but I bet our editot of Wee Harp is. I am going to send Frank a email and ask him for his wish list from the website. I looked at the site and many things to buy.

I will pay $25 toward his wish list. maybe a few others will want to jump in on a gift for the clan???

Grace and I are pleased to be the recipients of this software. I just spent a few minutes on the site and Grace will review. She is the MFA lady in the house (who makes the Wee Harp LOOK so appealing. I think there are some great opportunities to upgrade our look even more. As soon as we figure which one we are choosing, we'll let you know and accept your kindness and cover the rest if need be!!

Thanks again. Wee Harp to come out this next week.

I checked their website out, and have bought a download copy for myself.  It's on my computer now.  Got the Graphics Pro set and the 12G font for patterns for crocheting, woodcarving, etc.

Looking forward to learning to use it and making borders, etc. for my newsletters and posters.  May have to play with it tonight.

Thanks for letting us know about the SW, especially since it helps out with her medical expenses.

Well, I finally had a chance to sit down and play with the SW tonight.  Just went through part of the Manual that comes with it, and made several designs from his instructions, and made some of my own - simple ones.  Cool stuff!
