Jim reminded me that I have not shared the news that I have. Don't want to take the lime light from Jim, and I'm sorry Jim for doing so but...
My youngest son and his Fiance' are expecting their first child August 29, this makes grand child 5 for my wife and me.
Our Son-in-Law landed a job in London, KY not exactly closer to Wisconsin but he has a job when he finishes his internship. My grandson (the only one) my daughter's child, is standing and starting to walk.
In about two weeks I will be making my first purchase of a Lamont, Ancient (8 yard traditional) Kilt.
Not sure I could handle that much fun, we have only one (almost 2) and sorry to say to both Richard and Jim... our Zoe is the smartest and cutest grandchild ever. I suppose second smartest and cutest would be nice

George, Your Zoe may be the cutest but my Isaac is the smartest, he already understands Constitutation Law...my daughter is already thinking that she will start to get calls from the school about Isaac correcting teachers and giving advice, my son-in-law would read him Constitution Law when it was bed time, and my daughter would read him Harry Potter for nap time.

My unborn twin grandchildren already have a full ride scholarship to several Big Ten schools and Will is going to be their professor in whatever discipline he chooses. He's already bored by simple things like nuclear science and silly things like that.
BTW Richard, that IS good news. Congratulations my friend.

It would be a little easier if they did go to Wisconsin. One daughter and son-in-law went to Michigan and my other daughter and her husband went to Michigan State. For those of you who don't know, in the state of Michigan, you are a Michigan fan or a State fan - never both. You think the Hatfields and McCoys had a thing going? That was just a friendly rivalry compared to Uof M and State fans. Saturday afternoons in the fall tend to be quite interesting in our house.
I forgot to mention that there is one thing and one thing only that will bring U of M and MSU fans together: a Buckeye!
Just trying to bring peace to the household. I actually grew up in Westland so even though I'm not a big sports fan I kind of had to be a U of M fan since I grew up about 30 miles from Ann Arbor (about 15 minutes as a Michagander drives). Besides you have to respect anyone one who can navigate Ann Arbor. For those of you who don't know Ann Arbor is all one-way roads and to make things worse they change them around every so often, just to keep things interesting I think.
