I just got my August addtion of Scottish Life, a very nice article in it from a cousin,John D Lamond in the Parrish of Peats section titled Scotch Whisky By John Lamond, this lead me to find his web site listed above. I have a new book to bu now

here is a book review
An excellent text; nicely consolidated and very detailed. If you enjoy the Scotch beverage, and single malts, then this is the book for you. The entire scene in Scotland has really changed over the past ten years - a lot of houses no longer malt their own grain - this book provides you detailed history about ALL of the distillers in Scotland including style and production notes for each house. A great Scotch companion book!
